My friend is riding him in this video and so you will just see his head.
Giving a small child a lesson
This horse is the sweetest. He has been my lesson horse for some years, but now I am not giving as many lessons and need to cut back.
He knows all the arena work. More whoa than go. He has a flat walk, saddle gait and canter. He gaits well if you know how to ride gaited. He prefers to go slow and can walk with quarter horses. On trail he would rather follow than lead.
He would be great for an older person looking to ride in the arena, do play days or easy trails. He would also be great for kids to play on, he will let you sit on him when he is laying down and you can ride double. He will let you do most anything if cookies are involved.
He prefers open trails vs ones in the woods. He is great if he sees everything coming, but in the woods if something jumps out he can shoot forward. He never does that in the open. He is great with cows, goats, bikes, traffic, water, bridges.
He does have a partial blue on the left, no visual problems. He is up to date on everything and has been well taken care of. He does need shoes if riding on gravel, rocks or roads. He is shod all around at present.
He gets along with most horses and is still very playful with horses if turned out. I have videos of that as well.
